Cooking and living in Dranouter, was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I was completely unprepared for what I was about to jump in to but I was excited for it. I cannot believe how much those two months changed my outlook on food, and cooking as a whole. Kobe not only took time to make sure everyone was involved, he also made sure we all understood how important it was to appreciate what we were doing.
However it was not only the food that will stick with me, because during those two months I was able to meet and spend time with people from all over the world. It gave me the opportunity to create friendships that will last a lifetime. In de Wulf is a very special place,
I think it is unlike any other restaurant in the world, and I encourage anyone interested in taking the trip to flanders to make it, you will not be disappointed.
